Live an Italian Christmas for a week
A Week in Italy invites you to spend seven days creating a truly special and traditional Italian Christmas holiday season.
Christmas in Italy usually spreads over a month from the 6 December to 6 January (Epiphany). On your winter vacation, you will have the pleasure of compressing this into seven nights. Food, festivals, markets, activities, snow, crafts, train trips etc. await you in Abruzzo where every town becomes a Christmas Village.
Your Christmas themed accommodation will be luxuriously decorated. Remember when you were a child and excitedly anticipated waking up on Christmas morning to discover the joys of the day? Here, you can experience seven days and evenings of these wonderful experiences. Each day a wrapped gift will be waiting for each guest under the tree. The days are also about eating, drinking, browsing markets, craft making, and snow activities. We even spend a day on a 1930s style train ride through the mountains visiting Christmas markets.

Christmas Markets and Villages
Almost every town in the Abruzzo region has a Christmas market and guests can visit several of these. Shopping for gifts, momentos or just enjoying the vibe will have you joyfully smiling. Local crafts people and artisians sell products such as decorations, clothes, interior design accessories, handbags, soaps, seasonal pastries and chocolates. Speaking of chocolate, there will be plenty of time to sit and enjoy a hot chocolate or coffee on our explorations.
Discover living cribs in various local towns where the discovery will be truly emotional. Surrounded by unique natural beauty, these snow covered villages become living Christmas card scenes.
